Offering city views, Nazaré Sweet Dreams is an accommodation situated in Nazaré, 400 metres from Nazare Beach and 1.8 km from Do Norte Beach. Very comfy beds (best sleep I had during my Portugal trip), good showers, excellent location, very nice breakfast (they can provide vegan options if you ask in advance). All the staff was very friendly and kind, and made us feel welcome.

We found this small hotel to be extremely charming, comfortable and perfectly located in downtown Coimbra. Our third-floor room (Cidreira) was clean and spacious, with sound-dampening panels on the shutters to minimize street noise. The antique pharmacy that served as the lobby was a very charming spot to enjoy the complimentary coffee, tea, fruit and muffins. Since the hotel is largely self-service, we could arrive and depart when it suited us, and we availed ourselves of their convenient luggage storage after checkout. While the lobby isn't constantly staffed, we met two staff members during our visit and both were very pleasant and helpful. We would definitely stay there again if we return to Coimbra.

Situated in Coimbra, 4.4 km from Portugal dos Pequenitos, Granja da Cabrita features accommodation with an infinity pool, free private parking, a garden and a bar. Best stay in Portugal, the location was amazing. The scenery is unmatched and the staff were extremely helpful. The place looked even better than the pictures posted, was absolutely delighted with this stay. Of course you need a car but was a 6min drive to the city centre, loads to do and see in the city centre although the university you have to get tickets for everything and the times weren’t ideal. So I’d advice booking in advance.

Situated in Viseu, 16 km from Mangualde Live Artificial Beach, Casa da Torre - Viseu features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. The renovation of the complex was tasteful. We really enjoyed the many memorials, photos and writings by José Coelho, an archaeologist. The location of Casa da Torre is in a very quiet location. The woman who was attending to the breakfast was extremely helpful in providing additional important historical information about Professor Coelho, his work, as well as his home.

Located just 200 metres from S. Sebastião Aqueduct, Coimbra Monumentais B&B provides accommodation in Coimbra with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as private check-in and check-out. The staff was very friendly. The room was very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was delicious. Excellent benefit-cost ratio.

Exceptionally spacious room in a nice period house, big windows, tasteful decoration, lots of light, central location, easy to find a parking spot on the street. Overall excellent value for money.

The staff is absolutely incredible, they were so accommodating! We got a welcome drink upon arrival and when at checkout they gave us a little snack for the road. The included breakfast is an absolute feast as well and it comes in an adorable little picnic basket. The room is very cozy and comfortable, and we were thrilled there was a jacuzzi.
