Mario and his wife are the most friendly and helpful hosts! We absolutely loved our stay at their place and the walking tours of the island that Mario gave us each day. The meals they cooked us were so delicious that I had to ask for the soup recipe when we left. They happily answered all of our questions about the island and their culture. We even got to see Mario dance in the Fiesta de Santiago, which was incredible!

This is a secret garden that feels so welcoming when you come off the bleak concrete streets. Ursula is a very kind hostess, she brought me filtered water, held luggage for me all day and arranged for a special (extremely delicious) home cooked meal for me while I waited for the night bus. The room is very charming, hot great shower, even a cozy cafe to enjoy downstairs! Amazing choice, better than the photos, highly recommended.

Located in Huillanopampa in the Taquile Island region, WHITE SAND Taquile Lodge features a terrace and mountain views. With lake views, this accommodation provides a balcony. Edwin was super helpful and caring so I could arrive the accomodation without any problem. Views were astonishing and the peace was out of this world. Food was nice too. They gave me a better room than the one I booked because they had it free for that night.
