The facilities were extremely clean and functional. Each flat has separate kitchen that is fully equipped with nice, new appliances and is kept extremely clean. The bed was comfy and warm, and everything kept really clean. Giovanni was very accommodating, and even let me come back to use the kitchen on a day I had a night bus out of town and was no longer staying there.

Our hosts were inpecable, and the island is a magical place. Would recommend for anyone to at least spend a night in Taquiles; a 2 hour tour simply is not enough.

Very kind family running the hotel, they were always ready to assist if I needed anything. Even offered to prepare me breakfast to go when I said I plan to leave at 5am

Offering city views and a garden, Inti Ut'ha offers accommodation situated conveniently in Puno, within a short distance of Plaza de Armas Puno, Huajsapata Hill and Pino Park. This is a great budget place to stay, only two blocks from the plaza in a quiet street. I was in a front room and had big windows looking out to a great view of the lake that received gorgeous sunshine in the mornings. Hot water at night. And a lovely helpful friendly family. Highly recommend.

Located in Huillanopampa in the Taquile Island region, WHITE SAND Taquile Lodge features a terrace and mountain views. With lake views, this accommodation provides a balcony. Edwin was super helpful and caring so I could arrive the accomodation without any problem. Views were astonishing and the peace was out of this world. Food was nice too. They gave me a better room than the one I booked because they had it free for that night.

Ilda, his sister, and mum Juana delivered amazing local food, dish after dish of local food. With comfy beds topped with llama blankets, we had an exceptional stay. From sharing English phrases for Quechua with Ernesto to drinking local tea, watching the sunsets, to hiking the local trails, I can not recommend enough.

Featuring a garden and a terrace, Amantani Pachatata Lodge is located in Amantani. Certain rooms at the property include a balcony with a city view. Vidal and Sonia were great hosts! They picked us up at the port by motorbike, very nice trip around the island. The room has its own bathroom and toilet with hot water and they provide a heater for the night so we were not cold at all. They prepared lunch (quinoa soup and trout with rice and vegetables), diner (chicken with rice and vegetables) and breakfast (fried egg and pancakes) for 20 soles extra per meal per person which is extremely fair given that these were one of the best meals we had during our trip, home made by Sonia with fresh organic products.
