If you pick this place, you will not regret it. If you are concerned with shared open space/facility, these are really well organized. The terrasse is really big with seats, tables, and Hamach, all facing the amazing sea/beach view. Just a few steps down through the garden and you are on the beach/sea. Great decoration and style of the rooms. Also, not marked in the description, but the kitchen area has a small cooker. Always handy. Really a place we will remember.

I can highly recommend Casa Manila if you are looking for great Hostel in Santa Catalina. So let me start of with the location. You are located right at the ocean and have stunning view over it. You are perhaps only 20 meters away from the pacific and can take a dip whenever your heart desires. It’s truly the dream location for a hostel. The owners are even more amazing. Pia and Kike are always looking out for you if you are having a great time and are so friendly and polite doing so. The kitchen has some great equipment, especially a strong stove. The rooms are amazing and there is nothing to complain about. All in all I am very happy with my choice, so much so that I extended my stay multiple times

It was lovely to have a pool to cool off in. Beds were very comfortable and air conditioning was effective and quiet. We loved having a little sitting area just for us outside our ‘Lotus’ cabana. Restaurant onsite was tasty and portions reasonable for the price. Drinking water was always available at bar and you can ask for ice. The staff were lovely and a special shout out to Sammy who was so nice and put up with our awful Spanish.

We thoroughly enjoyed the "simple supper" the night we arrived as we didn't plan to explore and find a restaurant. The delicious homemade breakfast the next morning was perfect!! We also enjoyed a much informative coffee tour by Celestino. It was nice to experience this mountain community as we have already resided in Panama for over 8 years also in another mountainous part of the country. Panama has so much to explore and learn about!!!
