Featuring a balcony with sea views, a garden and a shared lounge, Coibahouse can be found in Santa Catalina, close to Santa Catalina Beach and 1.7 km from Estero. Everything about this guesthouse is PHENOMENAL. The owner went above and beyond to make our stay easy and wonderful. He even drove us to our other hostel when we accidentally arrived a day early. The rooms have A/C, super comfy beds, and literally overlooking the beach. The best sunset view in town is from the many hammocks in the outdoor kitchen. Speaking of kitchen, it was fully stocked and even had a blender to make our own drinks. The owner also gave us the inside scoop on the best snorkel tours in the area and places to eat for cheap if we wanted. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. We originally stayed here because it was the cheapest place for two that wasn't full last minute. But this hotel made Santa Catalina our favorite place in Panama.

The hotel property is very beautiful, perched on a hill with great sunset views. It was lovely to have a pool to cool off in. Beds were very comfortable and air conditioning was effective and quiet. We loved having a little sitting area just for us outside our ‘Lotus’ cabana. Restaurant onsite was tasty and portions reasonable for the price. Drinking water was always available at bar and you can ask for ice. The staff were lovely and a special shout out to Sammy who was so nice and put up with our awful Spanish.

1.5 km from Estero, Sunset Catalina is set in Santa Catalina and offers air-conditioned rooms. Free WiFi is available throughout the property and Santa Catalina Beach is 400 metres away. Very clean, very friendly staff, comfortable room with a good bathroom and easy access to the common kitchen. The staff was very accommodating even after we arrived very late at night.

Set just 12 km from Omar Torrijos Stadium, Black Lion Inn provides accommodation in Santiago with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as a shared kitchen. Good location right next to the panamericana, right next to a fonda and panaderia. The host was very helpfull and Nice. The room was confortable and spacious.
