The property itself was stunning, so well maintained and right on the water. Easy to get a water taxi to and from! We felt immediately relaxed as soon as we got there. Ania was such a lovely host and made us feel very welcome, and a fabulous cook as well!

Clean, fancy, tidy, the shared kitchen had everything you’ll need, you don’t have to want to go to the sea because the house is above the sea. It’s just a dive away.

Nadia and Salvatore are the two kindest and most considerate hosts you could ever imagine, who have created a perfect little paradise tucked away in one of the best spots of the island for some peace and quiet! As soon as I booked, Nadia was already in touch to facilitate my arrival, and continued to give great me tips and recommendations all throughout my trip. In addition to wonderful hosts and a beautiful place that also includes sloths, howler monkeys, and other amazing nature right in the garden plus a little private cove, the food is also divine! Breakfast and dinner each day were really a treat. Thank you Nadia and Salvatore for the most wonderful weekend! I will definitely be coming back again :)

Situated within 500 metres of Istmito and 1.8 km of Y Griega Beach, Saigon Bay Bed & Breakfast features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Bocas del Toro. This place is truly brilliant. Nicolas & Angie are fantastic hosts, giving tips and advice on activities or restaurants and always available to help or answer questions. They also serve the best breakfast! The kayaks and bikes that are free to use are such a great addition, allowing you to discover a lot of the island and the bay. The location is great, in a quiet part of the town, just a 5-10 minute bike ride away from the center with all the restaurants and bars. There is a grocery store within 5 minutes walking distance and the kitchen is super well equipped if you want to cook yourself. Do yourself a favor and stay here. You won't regret it!

The eco-friendly B&B Dolphin Bay Hideaway features a wooden terrace with hammocks, plus garden and Dolphin Bay views. It is located on Cristobal Island, 20 minutes’ boat trip from Bocas del Toro. Right place for spending fantastic holidays away from the crowds of Bocas del Toro. Nice, colorful clean rooms, view over the bay where you can see dolphins jumping. Brian and Amy are just marvelous hosts that offer very interesting tours (snorkeling, dolphin spotting etc.) at fair prices and excellent food (on a long table with the other guests). It is not only called Dolphin Bay, there are really a lot of those noble creatures, apart from sloths, frogs, humming birds etc. Highly recommendable if you look for sustainable tourism (no plastic, renewable energy and careful usage of water).

Bamboo Lodge, a property with a garden and a bar, is set in Bocas del Toro, 300 metres from Y Griega Beach, less than 1 km from Istmito, as well as 2.6 km from Paunch Beach. Had a great stay here. The owner sent an information brochure in advance about the accomodation and the island, really super! If you worry its far from the center…don’t. Its a bit over 10 minutes by taxi and only costs 2 dollars. In return you get an accomodation thats brand new and clean, including a nice bar/kitchen at the pool! The town Bocas itself is a bit messy in Jan 2025 with open roads/construction and a lot of dirt and water so it was a blessing to stay here. The bungalow itself has everything you need: good shower and bed, AC, etc. and is nicely decorated. Certainly recommend this place!
