Luxury tents and facilities, at secluded place, quiet, great food , great location
We stayed for one night at Rashids Camp. The best decision! :) Rashid is so kindly, courteous, attentive, funny and, of course, himself. His camp has only 5 tents. For us the best because it was so private. The tents are so big, they have luxury and comfortble beds and a full equipped bathroom. He offered an amazing launch and breakfast. We felt like we were coming home. We would choose his camp again. And maybe we'll meet camels again who make their way back to his camp :).
This is my second stay at Saud’s camp. The standard of the camp is incredibly high with beautiful tents in a lovely quiet location. The camp is quieter and more traditional than many of the other options. Just you, the sand, the sun, stars. Saud is a great host, he has a wealth of good knowledge about the surrounding area and gives up a lot of his time sharing stories and laughing. Hes very easy to communicate with. His staff are excellent and keep the camp very clean and your stomachs full. My thanks to both of them.
A great experience is spending the night in the desert. It is not a cheap hotel, accommodation in the desert is different. Accommodation is private, not disturbed by other guests. A perfect experience is the possibility of a walk on the nearby dunes. You can watch the sunset or sunrise from the dunes. Everything is quiet, relaxing, comfortable. The accommodation is comfortable, convenient, with its own shower.
Great location quiet and next to dunes Lovely food Clean Friendly staff Kids playground
Rashid is an amazing host and treated us like family. His tents are spacious, well-equipped and pure luxury in a beautiful and quiet spot middle of the desert. The food was the best one we had on our trip. We had a great time with dune-bashing and learning more about camels during the early morning camel school activity with Rashid. We can’t wait to come back again!
Camp was clean and on a great location and very quiet. Food was very good and You get more than enough. Camp is small so You have a private Experience of desert which is great. But the best part is the owner Ibrahim and his friends, we spent the evening talking about everything we wanted to know about Oman and Omani lifestyle. Also, Ibrahim made the next morning very interesting with activities. Best Stay in the desert!
We had an amazing time in the camp which has only 4 tents for guests giving it a private atmosphere. We stayed two nights and the second night we were the only guests. Hamood is a great host and told us a lot about the desert and the area. Our little one particularly enjoyed the trips through the desert/ dunes in Hamoods car. The food was delicious as well. Very recommended!
Absolutely spotless hotel complex in a great location, right next to the dunes, where you can watch spectacular sunrises and sunsets. Rooms are actually little huts decorated in the traditional bedouin style, and are incredibly charming. Great dinners, including barbecued camel skewers and live music. They even put up a projector under the stars so guests could watch the FIFA World Cup games. Free dates and beverages available in the main tent all day, every day. Very relaxing stay.
You pay for an experience, dont expect luxury or something. You go back to the real nomadic life with a great Host.
