Our room was so quiet and comfy and the shared toilet and shower was clean and spacious. The kitchen was so well stocked (spices, utensils, pans, etc). This guest house is better than the pictures! The views in and around the house are absolutely breathtaking. I enjoyed having my coffee out on the front deck with an amazing view of the mountains. The owner was eager to help make us comfortable and offer suggestions on what to do in the area :) thank you!!

Chalet Karaka was absolutely delightful - a hidden gem, tucked away in a beautiful, tranquil bushy setting with a small picturesque stream running at the bottom of the garden. The shower was fantastic - excellent pressure with a lovely glass side looking out onto the private garden and stream. The room was spacious and well appointed and the icing on the cake was the generous outdoor undercover living area/deck complete with a Weber for all your barbecue requirements. Ngairie, our host, was friendly, welcoming and very helpful.

You can feel they enjoy doing everthing to make your stay confortable. Breakfast was amazing too, with very good choice of sweet and savoury options. Big bathroom and lots of towels (great!). Everything, amazing hosts very accommodating with great recommendations about the local sights. It's very well located but you do need a car. Room and lounge were huge and very comfortable, the sauna and pools were an added bonus. Breakfast was amazing, all local produce and a great way to set yourself up for a day of activity.
