J&D Cottage, a property with a garden, is situated in Kerikeri, 26 km from Opua Forest, 4.5 km from Kemp House and Stone Store, as well as 21 km from Haruru Falls. We didn't have breakfast during our stay but next time will definitely take the opportunity. We were able to get a courteousy van from Homestead to pick us up and drop us off so we could enjoy a couple of beers. Lovely stay there and so thankful for the return of my phone. When Booking the Deluxe Double with Sea View and Deluxe Twin Rooms the Guests will have their own Private Space which includes their private Toilet and Private Bathroom. Beautiful Setting Trish and John could not have been more helpful especially John who chauffeured us around as we didn’t have a car both great hosts.

Allegra House is located up a hill from the centre of Paihia, where you will find a range of shops, restaurants and the beach. Allegra House is set high on the hill with a spectacular view of the harbour in Paihia. Brita and Heinz are wonderful hosts that really enjoy welcoming you into their home. The breakfast served on the terrace was exceptional. Our room and balcony view overlooking the Bay of Islands(Paihia) harbour was spectacular!! If visiting the area again we would stay at Allegra House!!

Just 4 minutes’ walk from the Kerikeri River, Stone Store Lodge features suites with a private patio offering lovely bush views. Guests enjoy free self-serve continental breakfast and free WiFi. Absolutely beautiful relaxing accommodation to stay . We enjoyed every moment there. Having a great stacked kitchen to use was a bonus . Just awesome.

Just 450 metres from Kororareka Bay, Bellrock Lodge offers studios with a private balcony and lovely bay and town views. The owners Catherine and Stewart were the perfect hosts! They had a great balance between privacy and sharing important information about where to go.

Offering a garden and garden view, Kiwiblue is situated in Kerikeri, 1.3 km from Kemp House and Stone Store and 20 km from Haruru Falls. Room was comfortable, spacious, and very private. Access to the room was super easy too and Jenny communicated with us before we arrived (very late booking and check in so this was really helpful 😊)

Situated just 20 km from Opua Forest, FOREST WATERS features accommodation in Haruru with access to a garden, barbecue facilities, as well as a shared kitchen. Breakfast and coffee were well set out. The atmosphere was friendly and tranquil.

The Pacific Room, Tapeka Point, a property with a garden and a terrace, is set in Russell, 200 metres from Tapeka Point Beach, 2.8 km from Long Beach, as well as 1.2 km from Flagstaff Hill. Beautiful place with excellent facilities. Bridgette welcoming and friendly. Comfiest bed ever. Thank you.

Situated just 3.3 km from Haruru Falls, Forest Waters Bungalow offers accommodation in Haruru with access to a garden, a bar, as well as a shared kitchen. Beautiful and cosy room. Very clean. Kitchen all equiped. The landscape around the place, the nature.. beautiful. Host full of advices and very welcoming.

Set in the Bay of Islands, Fantail River Lodge offers a garden. All rooms feature a TV with satellite channels and a private bathroom. Rooms come with a balcony with views of the garden. The breakfast supplies were varied and ample. The surrounds of the gardens were beautiful and we enjoyed strolling around them. The host was very friendly and helpful, providing information about good restaurants and things to do in the area. The accomodation was only a 5 minute drive to Paihia.
