Sakrisøy Gjestegård - Manor House in Sakrisøy - Solbakken anno 1880 is housed in a former manor house dating back to 1880 and is located in the area of Moskenes. The location is unbeatable. Great views. We had an amazing stay. House of charme, super cozy. It makes you feel at home. Our room was a gem, with a bathroom with gorges view and comfortable bathtub. Jack gave us some great tips for getting the most out of our visit. Thank you!!!

The stay at this historical hotel was probably the coziest experiences I've had in my life. Nice location, it seems as if it is in the middle of nowhere though it is right next to the highway. Great hiking/walking options directly from the hotel. Lovely breakfast!

This place is a GEM. It’s a bit out there, but I like places that are a bit more removed. The view is spectacular, the room was clean and comfortable. Additionally, I arrived super late due to ferry schedules and was met by the owner who recognized I’d not eaten and made me dinner. We sat up and chatted for ages, she was so kind. It’s been just amazing and I can’t recommend this place enough.

The new-renovated room/bathroom was clean and comfortable. Hosts are very kind and helpful. The beautiful sea view through the windows never made us bored, even rainy day. The cozy and spacious living room was big enough to share with other guests. We did fishing right in front of the house and explored a near island borrowing a rowboat from host, and went hiking on the mountain in the back of house. It’s a very child-friendly place.

We felt very welcome from arrival, to our departure. The hosts were exceptionally kind, the entire place was luxurious, homely, and modern - but traditionally Scandinavian. An extensive and quality breakfast, including eggs fresh from their own chickens - which left us full enough for an entire day of hiking.
