Located in a quiet oceanfront area on the island of Averøy, this former Bacalao (salt modified and dried cod) factory has been restored into a rustic guesthouse. The hosts/owners know how to make you feel comfortable and welcomed. Set on the water with a lovely ocean view, it was quiet and relaxing. We had a studio with a kitchen that was modern and well equipped. The breakfast offered was varied and healthy...along with homemade bread. We would not hesitate to book here again.

This is a beautifully restored old building so it did feel a little like a night in a museum - but with modern facilities like a fridge, kettle and hairdryer ! The bed is super comfy it was warm and cosy and the breakfast was left in the fridge for us to eat in the dining space. I would recommend.

The people here were very friendly and they were awesome ! I had a wonderful time here, it was confy, it was fun and a good warm feeling as if you were home. The owners provided with lots of information of the area and ofcourse a lot of entertainment. If I could give an higher rating than 10, I would have given an 11 !!

Our favourite accommodation during our trip in Norway. Far beyond expectations, for a very reasonable fare. It made other accommodations (often more expensive) pale in comparison. Easy communication with the owners. The type of room you wish yourself in every visited place.
