Ålesund

Our room overlooked an open air museum, which we wouldn’t have known to visit had we not stayed here. It’s definitely worth the visit. Our only regret is not planning our trip so that we could have enjoyed the guest house longer!
Averoy
Located in a quiet oceanfront area on the island of Averøy, this former Bacalao (salt modified and dried cod) factory has been restored into a rustic guesthouse. The brightly decorated studio apartments tell you the ancient history of the building. The rooms come with views of the Atlantic Ocean from French balconies. Kristiansund town center is 10km away. The Atlantic Ocean Road is 25km away. We loved the sea, the location over the water, the great fishing & crabbing, the views, the charm of the accommodation and the very helpful host, Thomas. A good idea to bring wetsuits to be able to make the most of the sea and underwater beauty.
Godøy
Situated in Godøy and only 19 km from Color Line Stadion, Relaxing place on Godøya features accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. With mountain views, this accommodation provides a terrace. The property is non-smoking and is located 19 km from Sparebanken Møre Arena.

It was the most wonderful place.
First of all, the owners are lovely, caring, friendly and will help you with any questions you have.
Secondly, the location. As mentioned before, it is quite the view to wake up to, to see in the afternoon, and in the evening! It might not be the closest to Ålesund (has a bus to the city, just down the road), but it is 100% worth it to stay in this flat!
10/10- we had a wonderful experience there and would come back there any time
Longva
This bed and breakfast has water sports facilities and bike hire is available. You can engage in various activities, such as cycling, fishing, kayaking, hiking or enjoying Gunnabuda's wood-fired sauna with a lovely fjord view. Beautiful place. There is everything for relaxation. Nearby there is a beautiful beach and the sea. Quiet and peaceful place. Friendly owners. If you have the opportunity to visit the islands and stay there for night, do it.
Austefjorden
Located in Austefjorden, Josygaard provides free WiFi, and guests can enjoy, a bar and a garden.

Great location, close to city center yet quiet. Nice and comfortable room, and a very helpful owner. I also liked that I got very good instructions on how to get there, open the doors etc. I recommend it, and if I'm back in Alesund that's where I will book as well!

This was a lovely and cosy private accommodation with a very friendly host! The hut is small but clean and everything worked. We were particularly pleased with the good heating and the good equipped kitchen. The pull-out beds were very comfortable. The shared shower works excellently. The area is very quiet and the view is amazing!
Great view, great location, good breakfast. Alesund's main attractions nearby, as well as the airport bus service and hurtigruten. While very expensive in absolute sense, a decent value-for-money proposition compared to other hotels in Alesund's city center.
The location is in the city center. We did everything by foot. The 1st room was really large and comfortable. The apartment is on the 3rd floor and was very bright. Everything was brand new. It was also quiet. Thank you for your welcome

Good location (basically in the city centre), but quiet, clean, responsive host who gave great recommendations about the city, all needed utensils and appliances there and functioning, great coffee in a coffee machine. Thanks for having us!

The apartment is nice, decent size and has everything we needed for a few days’ stay. It’s not right in the city center, but we appreciated the 25min walk and the quiet surroundings. Ugnė and Paulius were great hosts, communication was timely and efficient. We really appreciated hosts’ recommendations for restaurants, cafés and sightseeing places.
