Located in Kampung Kundasang, Spring Garden offers accommodations in the UNESCO World Heritage site of Mount Kinabalu, 24 km from Ranau. This place has definitely exceeded my expectation. It's located about 5km from desa dairy farm and sosodikon Hill. Nearby also have alpaca club, rabbit farm, and strawberry farm. It is at foothill of Mt KK, which means you will get a spectacular view of Mt KK. Fresh air, quiet peaceful, everything you need to escape city life. It also surrounded by beautiful garden. The room comes with heated toilet flooring, heated water for shower and heated bed. The room and toilet are cleaner than some 4-5stars hotel in city. Host, Mr Lee is very nice and friendly. Breakfast is at H.Benjamin place - located just before entering the rocky path. The quality of the breakfast is actually not as bad as other reviews, considered that this is at ulu place. Can order other breakfast at H. Benjamin with reasonable price

Bike and Tours Bed and Breakfast is located in Lahad Datu. It features a restaurant and offers complimentary parking (upon availability) and rooms with free WiFi access. It’s very clean, beautiful, and simple. My husband and I really enjoyed the breakfast and dinner there. The food was homemade and delicious!

VIRTA Guesthouse is great if you prefer the comfort of having your own place while visiting Sandakan. We enjoyed all the space we had and the cozy/functional outside area where we were able to cook some meals. Places like the Orangutan Sanctuary and Rainforest Discovery Center are about a 20 minute drive from the house. It is pretty easy & affordable to use Grab (Malaysia's Uber) to get back and forth, though having a car would be more comfortable. The host is also very responsive and friendly.

Set in Penampang, Sinurambi Bed & Breakfast - Mills Residence provides accommodation with an outdoor pool, free WiFi, barbecue facilities and a garden. Rose and Terry’s property is amazing with stunning sunset views. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The meals were great as was the hospitality. We also enjoyed having all the dogs around!

Room was spacious enough for our needs, the staff were very friendly and accommodating, strong wifi, and the welcome scent at the lobby was really relaxing and inviting.
