Make sure you hire a car from Kuching, not only to get to Nanga Damai but also to explore the area, it's worth it and driving is easy, not much traffic at all. If you are fit and like hiking, Mount Santubong is waiting for you :) and the "Blue Pool" is a nice loop, as well. Kuching Wetlands by boat is fun and there's a lot more! ENJOY

From the moment you arrive, you'll be greeted with warm hospitality and a refreshing Butterfly Blue Pea Flower drink. Our room was MASSIVE and featured direct access to the dolphin plunge pool, which was almost as refreshing as the pitcher of lemonade which magically appeared. The highlight though was dinner and breakfast. The food is thoughtfully prepared and locally sourced, and the staff goes above and beyond to provide an enjoyable dining experience. The combination of comfortable accommodation, superb hospitality, and delicious food make it a 10/10.

Rooms were large, spacious and clean. Bed and breakfast were also fine. The highlight, however, was the friendliness of the hosts, especially the two sons. When the elephants were nearby, I was informed immediately and they went with me straight away. The boat tours (since I was there in December, these were even private tours) were very good and there was a lot of information about the animals. I can highly recommend this accommodation and the accommodation is much more personal than the resorts or large providers. I would come back immediately.

Guests at the bed and breakfast can enjoy snorkelling and walking tours nearby, or make the most of the sun terrace. Everything was exceptional and exceeded expectations from start to finish. Staff was proactive, communicative, informative and friendly. Punctuality was great throughout. Location and accommodations were fantastic. Food was amazing, staff was incredible on snorkeling and island tour outings. No negatives at all. Recommend 110% and would most definitely visit again.
