To clarify: We have visited several other islands in the Maldives, the Seychelles, Mauritius, Bali, Thailand, Malaysia, the Caribbean and Australia - to mention some! We also find it much more interesting to visit a local island than to stay at an artificially created “bubble” at a resort. Three Hearts Guesthouse offers absolutely delicious meals from many parts of the world that all taste wonderful, including lovely Maldivian dishes!! The vegetarian and vegan options are all excellent and highly recommendable. The guesthouse has a well kept lounge area and the outdoor area is decorated with tropical plants. In addition Three hearts offers books to read in several languages, toys and games. Guests can also enjoy the relaxing hammock under the palm trees by the water a few steps from the guesthouse. Additionally there is a great place to sit and chat amongst more palm trees with the charming Maldivian seating in a refreshing spot next to the guesthouse. The atmosphere is friendly and homie thanks to the superb and caring hosts Elvira and Simbe. They offer exquisite tours with friendly local guides with years of experience. The guides know exactly how and where to go to give you the best and most beautiful experiences! We saw dolphins and mantas and countless turtles close up. Totally harmless sharks were also fascinating to see:) On top of this you can borrow snorkeling equipment free of charge at Three Hearts. The snorkeling in the area is fabulous - the best we have experienced after visiting more than 100 countries! The rooms are spacious, clean and perfectly well kept every day and beds are very comfortable. We also very much appreciated the fact that Three hearts is aware of the challenge concerning garbage coming in from the ocean: they offer a refreshing, homemade lemonade if you participate in taking responsibility of cleaning up certain areas of the island!

Azoush Tourist Guesthouse ofrece alojamiento de 3 estrellas en Isla Fulhadhoo, frente a la playa, y tiene jardín, zona de playa privada y restaurante. It is our 2nd time in Maldives and we stayed in Azoush for 3 days. The guest house is located in Fulhadoo, Baa Atol, which is a sanctuary for a lot of marine life. It is 2 hrs by speedboat from Male - away from the touristy local islands. They have a beautiful resident reef and an area where you can see manta rays, sea turtles, colorful fishes and white sandbars. The local island is very peaceful, pristine and doesn't have much of a nightlife if you want your own private retreat. The highlight of our trip was actually our experience with Azoush guesthouse. Saman and his staff went above and beyond to provide us a memorable travel experience. They encouraged us to go on day trips and provided us reasonable prices as they have their own boat for excursions. The fishing trip and swimming with the manta rays that they have suggested will always be one of our core travel memories now in Maldives. They have a very generous breakfast plates, provided us with the complimentary fishing trip meal, coconut drinks and coffee when they feel that we need it after a long tiring day. They took us to the local beach with their golf cart and made us a short phone video on the fishing excursion that we had. The guest house is still currently 3 stars and there is an ongoing construction to make it a 5 star hotel. The room is spacious, a typical local Maldivian guest house and is very comfortable. The mosque next to it might be loud in the first early mornings but will be a music to your ears, later on, signaling the start of a new day. They have a stable wifi connection but on and off tv cable connection. You are on a trip on this beautiful island to disconnect and experience a new culture, right? This is truly an example of a 5-star service and experience without overspending. Everything is done perfectly and exceeded our expectations from communication with the hotel, during our stay and leaving that beautiful island.

The Fulhadhoo Beach Cottage está en Isla Fulhadhoo y tiene jardín, terraza, restaurante y wifi gratis en todo el alojamiento. Se ofrece traslado para ir o volver del aeropuerto. We have spent a wonderful holiday on the island of Fulhadhoo, where the White sandy beach, one of the 100 most beautiful beaches of the world (rated by Lonely Planet), is located. The house, which is directly on the beach has a splendid view of the sea. The entire house is decorated in a uniform style with great attention to detail. Our sea view room was clean and spacious enough, equipped with air conditioning and a mini fridge. There was a shared living room with access to a terrace and with a sea view. This is undoubtedly the most stylish and beautiful accommodation on the island. I would especially like to highlight the approach of our host Mohamed, who was kind, helpful, accommodating, ready to help us at any time with any problem or request. He managed a transfer from/to the airport for us, a cot for our three years old child, etc. He was helpful to us throughout our stay. We believe to come to this wonderful place again someday.

Madi Giri Guest House está en Maalhos, a pocos pasos de Bikini Beach, y dispone de alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, zona de playa privada y restaurante. Great hospitality, great foods, great beaches! Definitely will come back to Maalhos with Madi Giri!

Lugar excepcional, tanto el alojamiento como la isla local, preciosa habitación, gran cama y la ducha al aire libre maravillosa. Una experiencia única y sobre todo por el personal del alojamiento, cabe destacar el trato exquisito de Jabu, maravilloso profesional y gran persona, siempre te estaremos agradecidos por los maravillosos días que vivimos en Fehendhoo, te implicaste personalmente para que pudiera hacer uno de mis sueños realidad, visitar la bahía de Hanifaru, lugar indescriptible en el que nadamos con más de 50 mantas raya, una experiencia de vida que jamás olvidaremos. Dhoani Maldives Guesthouse está en Kendhoo y tiene jardín, salón de uso común, terraza y wifi gratis en todo el alojamiento. The workers were amazing and so proactive. The stay was smooth and well organized. Easy access to activity and a calm beach. I would definitely recommend and renew the experience.
