This Riad is right in the old Medina. It’s perfectly positioned to explore the Medina, it’s so quiet inside. When you walk through the door from the alleyway you’re transported to a beautiful home. Unfortunately it was too cool for us to use the pool, but it was gorgeous to look at. They even made a takeaway breakfast for us as our flight time was well before breakfast.

Superb riad close to Jemaa el-Fnaa. Surprisingly very quiet and peaceful. Decoration/design is very well done and the overall atmosphere is relaxing. The rooftop is fantastic, the pool also. Breakfast was aligned with expectations and satisfying, although not very diversified. Staff was friendly, we could drop the luggages for a city tour after checkout, same for using the rooftop. Bit expensive but worth it.

Yannis is an excellent host. He gave us clear instructions how to get there. Very homey atmosphere where most guest interact with each other. The beds are super comfy. Essaouira is very humid but they managed with the help of a ventilation system to bring the humidity to a minimum. The roof terrace where breakfast is served is also very cosy. Even with strong winds it is nice to sit there because of walls around. The staff was very nice and helpful. What I really liked about them was that they remembered small request so they kept on doing them without asking. I’ve been coming to Essaouira for 30 years and for price/quality you not gonna get much better.
