Such an amazing start to our Sri Lanka trip - dinners are so good here!! Different meal served each night. On the first night we had a selection of authentic Sri Lankan curry and rice that was incredible. The pool area is clean, relaxing and the rooms are big and clean. Hotel manager and all staff are very accommodating providing everything we need including bicycles which were a great way to explore the area.

The food and service at The Backwater's Lodge was exceptional and even though we missed our flight connection they rearranged everything without any issue. I recommend a swim in the river after a day safari!

Kurumba Lodge is a wonderful place with an awesome family. From the first welcome drink until the last moment of GoodBye it was an unforgettable lifetime for us. The son Naditha and his parents supported us in nearly every aspect, we could image. Wether it was some technical problems with my camera or an unforgettable safari – in every moment, they were so helpful. The self made food, the drinks, everything tasted very well. The place of the lodge is also very nice. The terrace with a wide view, all the wildlife animals – for us as nature lovers and photographers – perfect. And by the way, the bed, the matress, the AC – we slept like in heaven. The hardest thing was to say goodbye, because it felt already like at home. We felt in love with these wonderful and heart warming people.

Com vista do jardim, o Agro Village Resort, Kalpitiya está situado em Kalpitiya e dispõe de restaurante e recepção 24 horas. We stayed here for going to willpatu wich its a amazing national park. The room was very beautiful the second floor but not ac. We changed the room for one in the first floor with ac but it wasn't that beautiful and 10 dollars extra per night. The host it was super nice i really like him. It was a 10/10. The hotel its in between of the jungle and you can see birds and squirrels. A bit difficult to find a tuk tuk or taxi just in the street but the host always help us for find one driver. The owner a good guy, we didn't meet him but we talked with him by phone and he was super helpful There's available bikes, amazing!

Totally exceeded our expectations! Even better than the photos and super friendly people treat you just like family. Such a clan and nicely decorated place and super comfortable beds, comforter and fluffy pillows on a soft bed. just what we needed! Also about as close as you can get to the rickshaw run start line so was a super location for us. No hot water but we didn’t even miss it.

Adjacent to the house but able to enjoy the freedom without any disturbance. Great value for money. There is also an outside dining and coffee making area. The rooms on two floors are of luxury quality. Highly recommend.

If you are as lucky as I was, your cozy home has an outdoor shower directly under a palmtree!! I loved it! Harshan and his lovely side kicks Mom and Aunt make you feel welcome from the moment you enter the gate and make sure you have the best time with everything you need. The food they cook is amazing and I would highly recommend you ask the ladies to cooked what they would like to cook that day; they will keep surprising your tast buds with fresh new flavors! Your new Sri Lankan Mom can prepare a big ass squid in 15 min. and it was the best meal I had in Sri Lanka (and I do no even like squid, haha). Perfect for sporty guests, because the windsurf & kite school is only a 10 min. walk down the road, you can go for a work out in the gym or do yoga in the garden. More layback? Not to worrry; take a free bicycle for a spin to the other side of the bay and relax! Many many thanks for my wonderfull stay!
