It is a working museum to say the least. From the design to the art collection on every corner, the historical significance of the place is invaluable. Now if you happen to be a fan of the architect, then there is no greater privilege than staying at his home.

Set in Colombo on a private peninsula by the banks of the historic Diyawanna Lake, Aathma Colombo House provides accommodation with a garden. Aathma is a feast for the eyes and the heart. The setting is so lovely with lake views and peaceful gardens. As others have said there is always something new, beautiful or quirky to catch your eye. The hotel feels like a treasured family home in which you are an honoured guest. The staff are excellent, so professional and competent but friendly and fun as well. Bohoma stoothi Imran and Geeth for your outstanding care of us. The food was also some of the best we have had in Sri Lanka.

I could not be happier with the choice to stay here for a little over two weeks as I got my bearings back in Sri Lanka at the start of a long trip for research and work. Sameera has been extraordinarily hospitable, kind, and attentive. More than this, however, he has become my friend. Most nights we hang out on the beautiful deck he has built, drinking a few beers and watching the sun set while sharing stories about our lives and families. I've met many of his local friends, too, and through my time here have come to feel not only completely welcome, but like I belong. If you want a really comfortable place to stay, with well-maintained facilities, consider staying here. But if you want to really get to know folks in the local community and build meaningful connections and amazing memories, DEFINITELY, this is the place for you. I'll be back, for sure.

Located in the suburbs of Colombo city, 55TG Boutique Suites offers an authentic home stay experience in a two story 1920's period house with a garden, outdoor pavilion, living room and a lounge. We were only here for one night and an early morning the next day however the staff were lovely and the rooms were fantastic. Super clean and easy to check in. Thank you for packing a breakfast super early the morning after. Would love to come back in the future.

Our hosts were incredibly welcoming, making our stay in Colombo memorable. Not to mention their cute pooch, Pebbles, who added to the homely vibe. The room exceeded our expectations with what might be the comfiest bed we've ever slept in, ensuring restful nights. Our single morning was greeted with a delicious breakfast, a perfect start to our day. If our travels weren't taking us elsewhere, we'd have extended our stay without a second thought. A place we'd eagerly recommend for those seeking comfort and warmth in Colombo.

Featuring free WiFi throughout the property, Sayura House offers accommodation in Colombo, 3.5 km from Asiri Surgical Hospital. Free private parking is available on site. Beautiful property with a lovely view of the ocean from the rooftop - all the staff were welcoming and went out of their way to be kind and helpful! Rooms had AC and were nice and cold and they have a good location on a more private road, very close to places you can buy SIM cards if at the start of your stay 😌😌

Offering views of the garden, "27" Spathodea- Oasis in the City is located in Colombo in the Colombo District Region, 1.6 km from Asiri Surgical Hospital. Such a wonderful stay to start our vacation. Glenn is really friendly and his place makes you feel at home directly. He advises us many things to see in Colombo, and we confirm with him our itinerary. The room is perfectly clean and the bed super comfortable.
