The manager was so understanding and helpful, even though the room we stayed in was already booked for the next day, he managed to give us another room at a reasonable price. Everything is just perfect about this place, very clean and comfortable, and the coffee shop downstairs is just good to have inside the building. All the employees are so kind, and we didn’t find anything to complain about.

Beautiful colonial hotel tastefully decorated and lit. We arrived early and the staff were super accommodating to help us to our Royal Suite early. The room had a super comfy bed and pillows, bathroom with plunge bath and separate shower. Also a lounge area and balcony/patio. Pool is a quiet, calm place. Excellent breakfast
The photos are very accurate as the property looks exactly like what you see on the pictures. Great and friendly staff, very comfortable beds and mattresses, AC with cleaned filters, super quiet. I enjoyed my stay with Rosemead place. We had fresh fruits provided to us every breakfast.

- Great Location - Really Friendly and Helpful Staff - Rooms were such a great size, and came with balconies (Not that common for many city hotels) - Rooftop pool was quiet and had a beautiful view of the Colombo Skyline - Food from breakfast through to dinner was great, Peri Peri Chicken dish was my personal favourite and my wife enjoyed the Chicken Koththu!

The building is quaint and lovely.The staff -Mohan,in particular,were friendly and very helpful.Breakfast was nicely done:roti,dall,fruit-expect a Sri Lankan breakfast. I would stay at this hotel again.The location is great for local shopping and eating as well as for getting tuk ,tuks into the city centre. If you are looking for a cosy ,comfortable place,this is it.
We loved the beautiful decoration style of the hotel - it was very charming. It’s situated in a very quiet area, away from any main roads.The pool/garden area looked beautiful, especially at nighttime, and while we didn’t get to use the pool, it felt very private. The owner & staff were also super friendly and willing to help.
55TG Boutique Suites was the first place we stayed in in Sri Lanka and we couldn't have been welcomed in a more friendly way - there was great service, the location is good (a ways out of the center/Fort area, around 30 mins by TukTuk but very doable) and quiet, the rooms are comfortable and the plunge pool very welcome after a sweaty day. Special recognition goes out to the food - we had some really stellar curries at 55TG. The hotel is also very good for the price you pay for it, it's quite cheap for the quality of service.
