Set in Had Kham in Nong Khai Province, Wasuthan Garden House features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. Free private parking is available on site. Rooms have a flat-screen TV. Our host Nick went out of his way to look after us. We were heading for Laos and he gave us a ride to the border crossing (we gave him a small fee) and let us leave our car at his house until we returned. Also gave us a free breakfast which we weren't expecting. This room is a building within his own property so it is very quiet, secure and private.

Great location on a quiet street, and the room was so nice and comfortable I barely wanted to leave it! Also love all the cats and the dog that hang around, they are very friendly :) I like that it's a combination of a hotel and a hostel so you can have a private room and also socialise in the common area if you want to.

Located in Vientiane, 2 km from Wat Sisaket, Patuxay Place provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. I love Patuxay Place! The receptionist named Sai was very accommodating and helpful. He allowed us to checked in early at 9am which I am grateful for, especially after being more than 14 hours on overnight train & on the road. The place was very clean. They gave free soap and shampoo (which smells wonderful). There were water dispensers on every floor. They provided us with Cafe Amazon drip coffee and tea bags in the room. We also got 2 bikes to explore the city for free! The location was about 7mins of walking distance to Patuxay Monument. Loca e-hailing cabs were also very accessible and is actually cheap to get around the city. We left our bagpacks after checked out to get lunch and they have a wardrobe to store them. Sai also helped us to get a last minute cab to Thanaleng border station and we actually arrived before the train departed.

Located in the centre of Nong Khai City and beside the Mekong River, Mut Mee Garden Guest House is only a 5-minute walk from Tha Sadej Indochina Market. Probably the best accommodation in Thailand 😊. Just perfect in every meaning. An oasis for travellers

La situació, l'amabilitat i l'ajuda de la Ning Nong per comprar els bitllets de bus. Que em van esperar per fer el check in tot i que vaig arribar a les 22h. Ells estan oberts fins a les 21h. La kettle per escalfar aigua. Em van deixar un paraigües gran ( va ploure tot el matí).

Villa Sisavad Guesthouse provides comfortable rooms, a 10-minute drive from Mekong River. Featuring a 24-hour front desk, it also has free Wi-Fi and on-site parking facilities. Greatly appreciate that I was able to check in at 10:00 after traveling from the states - and without hesitation. The location is not super central Vientiane but turned out to be perfect. You’re able to take the VTE airport bus to stop A3 then walk 10-15 min to the accommodation. Few minutes walk to a morning market for fresh fruits & food stalls. There is a very small local night street food market nearby as well as local street stalls along the way. The area is walkable. Room was basic but clean & comfortable. Hot water on demand, aircon worked great, large fridge. Mellow ambiance. Pool is kept in excellent condition & is a great addition! Only stayed one night before heading on to Vang Vieng. Hotel staff was able to easily book onward transportation travel. Will be staying there again prior to Laos departure.
