Set in Don Det in the Champasak region, Crazy Gecko Dondet features a balcony and river views. This guest house offers a garden, a terrace, as well as a bar. We were initially placed in a three family room upstairs and were given the option to switch to a river view room the next day. However we preferred the bigger room with more privacy and the two hammocks. Very peaceful vibes and the host family was kind and knowledgeable. Not to mention great food I recommend the curry, sandwiches, and lemonade made in-house. Great bang for your buck.

Mr. Zai and Miss Kim are very kind and very serious people.The staff also deserves a word. They also help you with very fair prices in issues like laundry, bycicles tours,currencies,etc..

Pan guest house Donkhone is set in Ban Donsôm and has a pool with a view and river views. This guest house offers air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony. Guests can make use of a terrace. It was a pleasure to stay at their guesthouse, better than I expected for the price. We had less than 24 hours there, so we didn't experience much, but their hospitality was noticed.

The position of the place is perfect to discover the island. The person that handles the property is amazing, struggling a little bit with the English but he will definitely try to help you with your questions. The food is amazing as well and the restaurant is on the river, perfect for enjoying a nice breakfast!
