Convenient for restaurants, sites, etc. The owner is a lovely man who gave recommendations for places to visit and restaurant’s which we tried and they were delicious!

Location was stellar - it's right within the Hanok Village and everything we wanted to see was within easy walking distance. There's plenty to explore, see, and eat within a few minutes of wandering. The bus stop to/from Jeonju Station is within a few minutes of walking as well. Our room was clean and comfortable. The courtyard is really cute, with a variety of flowers and plants that made me smile whenever entering or exiting. There's even a little "self corner" where you can make tea, coffee, or toast bread with jam that the host has available whenever. (There's a "Korean tea," as it was described during check in - it's a Solomon's seal tea that we liked so much, we made some every night and plan to buy.) The host and his wife are extremely friendly! Upon check-in, we were sat down with a map and shown where we were staying, along with an introduction to the key areas to visit or eat at, as well as rough distance. In the morning, I was sketching in the courtyard while waiting for my friend to wake up and they started chatting with me. All the wood signs were made by the host himself! Every room has a beautiful handmade wood carving by him.

Also, Lee was an incredible host. Waited for us to arrive as we had a later arriving coach. Gave us some great gifts and was extremely helpful in giving local recommendations. We stayed at Hanok Dream for two nights in late November. It was our first Hanok experience and the most memorable part of our 8-day trip in Korea! As other reviews have pointed out, the location is perfect and the owner is friendly. I can’t say enough great things about the owner, Mr. Choi. We learned that he is a retired banker. He is super organized, attentive, and helpful. After he knew that my wife is a K-drama fan, he immediately marked a few famous filming locations on the map. In addition, there was a water cooler in his office, and it helped a lot for us to get hot drinking water on cold days. His wife is also a friendly lady, and we tried to communicate via the translation apps! This kind of interactions with locals really enriched our experience. We had never slept on the floor before, but we were glad that we got used to it, with the help of extra pillows! I can’t find words to describe the wonder of lying on the heated floor and feeling the heat warming into my body through my back. I guess this is Koreans’ secret to stay healthy! Since we stayed for two nights, we had enough time to visit all the major attractions (and great restaurants and cafes!) without feeling rushed. I especially enjoyed walking around the old town late at night or early in the morning, when the day-trippers were gone and it seemed that you had Jeonju all to yourself! The location is right in the heart of the town and the host is incredibly nice and thoughtful. The breakfast was exceptionally well - we can absolutely recommend it!

The guesthouse is located right in the middle of the Hanok (한옥) village so it was really easy to access all the place I wanted to go to. The building was really cute with its traditional wooden architecture and the room was really cosy. The room was bigger than I expected and had everything I needed. The bathroom was really nice and clean too. I slept really well since the neighborhood becomes quiet at night and the bed was comfortable. The best part for me was the owners of the guesthouse which are really nice. They offered me a snack when I arrived and made me a breakfast to go when I told them I didn’t have the time to eat it. The breakfast was always delicious with fresh fruits. 사장님께 정말 감사합니다. 편한하고 즐거운 시간을 보냈어요. 포장해주신 간식 덕분에 너무 사랑받고 집에 있는 기분이었어요. 꼭 다시 올게요!
