Wolyeongchae is a recently renovated guest house in Andong, where guests can make the most of its garden and shared lounge. we rented out the whole Hanok for 4 people. it was a wonderful and cozy place. The staff was so kind and came to pick us up at the bus stop when we arrived. She gave us a tour of the home and gave us recommendations on the city. We will stay there again in the future.

Situated within 8.8 km of Gyeongju World and 22 km of Seokguram, Siwoowadang features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Gyeongju. Breakfast felt like what I imagine it would feel like coming back home to Korea (I was born in Korea, raised in the U.S.)--it was fresh, filling, and prepared with love. The location was also conveniently located to many restaurants, cute little shoppes, and other tourist-y attractions. This was, hands down, my husband's and my favorite part of our Korea trip (we traveled throughout the country: 서울, 부산, 졔주) and one of the main reasons why is because of this stay and its host. We will definitely request to stay with this host when we visit 경주 again.

Situated in Gyeongju, 8.6 km from Gyeongju World and 24 km from Seokguram, Gyeongju Friend Guesthouse offers free WiFi, a terrace and air conditioning. A fantastic experience! I ended up staying for 5 nights here. The owner went well beyond requirements to make sure my stay was a good one. Very sweet and helpful despite not speaking much English (and my Korean being crap). The place is very clean and comfortable, good AC, good common area, excellent breakfast and very friendly and laid- back in general. I prefer to stay in places frequented more by local tourists than international ones and this place was perfect in that sense. No boring and hackneyed backpacking stories, just good insight into Korean culture from other guests. I've been lucky enough to be able to explore much of Asia at a snail's pace and this hostel was a top experience for me. Thanks for your kindness and hospitality! As for the town, there are some great things to see, most of all the. National Museum, the park with the tombs and the temple outside town. Also a great small 2 building museum in a park near the hostel which goes into detail on how the tombs were built. The hanok part of town I found a bit disappointing, mainly due to overcrowding and a theme park like feel to it- I much preferred the one in Jeonju to Gyeongju but enjoyed Gyeongju overall and, obviously, the guest house!

Located 1 km from Gyeongju Express Bus Terminal, Hanok Raon 한옥 라온 is a guest house in a traditional Korean residential building offering guest rooms with Ondol, Korean heated flooring, and air... A lovely place in the centrum of all attractions, everything close in the walking dystans. Clean, comfortable room with private bathroom. Small kitchen for all guests with basic breakfast in the price. Very silent with beautiful garden and cosy space to relax. And of course nice host who gift us with beautiful post card with painted Hanok for good memories ♥️
