The accommodation was exactly the same as seen in the photo and was very clean. Our host was friendly and very helpful. Our 1 night stay was not enough for us, I definitely recommend you to stay 2 nights because the accommodation area and Gyeongju have a fascinating effect. Many respects and thanks to our host.

Loved the traditional architecture and furnishings. It is also well located with easy transport to Andong Old market and Andong train/bus terminals.

The place is just gorgeous, surrounded by the most beautiful nature. The host was super friendly and was happy to help with everything we asked.

I ended up staying for 5 nights here. The owner went well beyond requirements to make sure my stay was a good one. Very sweet and helpful despite not speaking much English (and my Korean being crap). The place is very clean and comfortable, good AC, good common area, excellent breakfast and very friendly and laid- back in general. I prefer to stay in places frequented more by local tourists than international ones and this place was perfect in that sense. No boring and hackneyed backpacking stories, just good insight into Korean culture from other guests. I've been lucky enough to be able to explore much of Asia at a snail's pace and this hostel was a top experience for me. Thanks for your kindness and hospitality! As for the town, there are some great things to see, most of all the. National Museum, the park with the tombs and the temple outside town. Also a great small 2 building museum in a park near the hostel which goes into detail on how the tombs were built. The hanok part of town I found a bit disappointing, mainly due to overcrowding and a theme park like feel to it- I much preferred the one in Jeonju to Gyeongju but enjoyed Gyeongju overall and, obviously, the guest house!

Located 1 km from Gyeongju Express Bus Terminal, Hanok Raon 한옥 라온 is a guest house in a traditional Korean residential building offering guest rooms with Ondol, Korean heated flooring, and air... The structure is simply amazing! The breakfast awaited you starting from 8.30 AM and you can use the kitchen till 11PM. Very well placed near all the most important sites and the owner is simply wonderful, very supportive in all your needs! I kindly recommend
