We loved out stay at Kitazawa Cosy House, very spacious, quiet and clean with all the amenities we needed. Host Amy was friendly and we felt welcomed. Great location and an easy walk to the heart of Kitazawa for shopping, great cafes and restaurants. Easy walk to the Odakyu (Shinjuku) and Keio (Shibuya/Kichijoji) lines for transportation throughout Tokyo. We came back to Kitazawa our last day in Tokyo for the Shimokitazawa Music Festival. What a great way to end our vacation!

The owner was extremely helpful! He gave us recommendations on where to eat (izakayas) and drink when asked! The location is in a nice and quiet location, and of course, next to convinis. There's also a relatively close location for laundry and if you need directions the owner has handouts on the whereabouts. ALSO I LOVE THE OWNER SO MUCH- he offered us cute goodie bags and also offered one of my friends a suitcase because she was carrying around lots of heavy bags 😭

Ash has put a lot of thought into every single detail in the hostel, and has left notes at most parts of the hostel which was very helpful! - There was breakfast included which was cereal or bread which was a really nice simple way to start the day! - The beds were so so comfortable - I haven’t slept until my alarm has gone off in a long time! - There’s plenty of space in the female dorm, and there was a cute little desk space where you can even put your feet down and a great security box system! It felt very personal and tiny house living-isque! - Ash also let us use his bikes which was a nice way to see and explore the neighbourhood. - Parking was really close by and for 1200 yen a day in Tokyo?? Great great price Ash was very helpful and I would highly recommend this place for anyone with a car and wanting a place away from the business of the main area of the city!

Alles tot top geregeld. Niets ontbrak. De eigenaren uiterst vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Heerlijke zelf gemaakte marmelade kroonde het uitstekend ontbijt. De kamer was ruim. De lokatie is stil. Ik werd opgehaald en gebracht.

Hanare is gunstig gelegen in de wijk Taito in Tokyo, en bevindt zich op 5 minuten lopen van Kyoouji Temple, 400 meter van The Site of Koda Rohan House en 6 minuten lopen van Tenno-ji Temple Gojuno... Alle medewerkers hebben een enorm oog voor detail, zelfs voor Japanse begrippen. Daarnaast is de inbedding in de wijk fantastisch. Al met al ademt alles zorgvuldigheid en liefde voor mensen, omgeving en grondstoffen.
