A recently renovated property, 波奈 浅草 Hana Asakusa ーSkyTree前駅まで徒歩5分ー is situated in Tokyo near Hatonomachidori Shopping Street, Aizome Museum and Tsukada Kobo. The house structure is interesting (in a good way) We got all the amenities like in the hotels. Everything is clean. We had our first experience on Tatami flooring & how to lay a futon. Unlike other self check-in home stay, Kazuki-san is very friendly that he greeted us himself and we had a small chat which I feel warmly welcomed.

Set just 15 km from Motomachi Port, 築100年の宿【はぶの家】 features accommodation in Oshima with access to a garden, barbecue facilities, as well as a shared kitchen. Everything was on point! Such a mesmerizing atmosphere, very comfortable, but also historical and so connected to nature! The food was beyond excellent! We liked everything, and would like to come again and again :) Thank you very much for your hospitality!

This is one of those cases where I feel I lack the words to express how beautiful of an experience this place was by itself. The greenery view from the room window, attentiveness of the hosts, the handmade food they serve, everything was heartwarming.

銀河荘-Galaxy Guesthouse 12歳以下不可, a property with a garden and a terrace, is located in Hachijo, 3.6 km from Ubai Homei Shrine, 3.6 km from Hideie Ukita Tomb, as well as 3.7 km from Jinyaato. The hosts were delightful and welcoming, and the house warm and homely. I couldn’t get enough of the sea view.

HISAYO'S INN is situated in the Ota Ward district of Tokyo, 1.5 km from Uramori Inari Shrine, 1.7 km from Miwa Itsukushima Shrine and 1.9 km from Omori Hachiman Shrine. Hisayo is so incredibly welcoming and in the short time I was there I watched her make introductions and find connections between the guests, making it a very warm and friendly atmosphere where all the guests helped each other and made plans for the future. She goes above and beyond. It was beyond the experience I had hoped for. ☺️
