250 metres from Beppu Tower, BEPPU HOSTEL U&T is set in Beppu and features a garden and a terrace. The property is close to Beppu Park, B-Con Plaza and Beppu Art Museum. Felt like coming home! very clean and well maintained. the amenities corner to borrow items for onsen was a nice touch, as was the gaming corner. It was reassuring to have a free drink bar and comfy lobby available 24hrs. Staff was very welcoming and lovely. The recommendations for places eat were very helpful. Such a welcoming place, i very much look forward to staying again.

In the Kannawa Onsen district of Beppu, close to Yukemori Observatory, OMOLOSO Hostel オモロソウ ホステル features a garden and a washing machine. The location is amazing. It's convenient, close to public transport and also close to many sightseeing areas. You also get a great view of Beppu from the area around the hostel. The interior of the hostel is fantastic, you could spend hours looking at all the decorations and talking about your favorite shows. Tosi was also an incredible host who went above and beyond to make my stay as special as possible.

Offering an open-air bath and mountain view, Yufuin Sunday is situated in Yufu, 46 km from Resonac Dome Oita and 2.9 km from Kinrinko Lake. We love everything about this place! The hospitality of the owner, the tatami room, the mountain view from the room, the private onsen, and the breakfast! We got 1 foot massager chair in our room which very helpful to ease my mother in law feet soreness after long walk. The owner offers free pickup back and forth from Yufuin station which is really helpful too. The room itself is very spacious and the futon is super comfortable that we rested well. We ordered breakfast from the owner and it tasted super delicious even though it was a simple Japanese style bento. We really enjoyed and had a great stay at Yufuin Sunday. Totally recommended for people who want to stay out from the crowd, but with ryokan feeling (sleep in tatami room and dip into onsen). Thank you so much!!

Situated within 25 km of Resonac Dome Oita and 5.1 km of Beppu Station, 花源 offers rooms with air conditioning and a shared bathroom in Beppu. The location was walking distance from a lot of interesting onsen. The host was incredibly kind, be sure to ask him for restaurants and onsen recommendations! The facility itself was homely and very pleasant, quiet too. All of this for a price which is honestly quite cheap. If I visit Beppu again, this is the place I'll return to.
