Superior experience! The host Mina and her mom are very kind and offer great service! Mina is fluent in English and always tries her best to make sure I enjoy the stay. Stayed in the single room, the actual room size is bigger than it looks in the picture. Big wardrobe for storage. Complimentary breakfast is great and comes with a wide variety of drink options, but the portion might not be enough for people who normally eats a lot. The place is super convenient with a free shuttle bus stop right across the street, making it very easy to get the train station, GALA and Ishiuchi.

The room is clean. The host is very nice. The location is opposite to the Yuzawa Kogen ski resort. If getting the bus from Gala Yuzawa, just find the route that will pass Yuzawa Kogen and tell the bus driver. Share bathroom is not the problem. Recommend to stay here.

古民家宿Tani House Itaya -セルフチェックイン encontra-se em Tokamachi, a 13 km de Estância de Esqui de Gala Yuzawa e a 37 km de Estância de Esqui de Naeba. Old house with not simply vintage style but real details. Love all the furniture and the wood stove at first sight. Nobu welcomed us with some nice herbal tea. She speaks fluent English and we had some nice conversations. She also recommended and gave us a ride to a nice public bath. What we cherished most is the special visit to Mr. Kawanaka, the local artist. It’s our pleasure to meet him and appreciate his artwork. Truly memorable journey. Thank you!

If you’re looking for an easy going vibe and the lowdown on the very best places to ski or board, look no further than Kitsune. Dave and Lisa are so easy to deal with and made us feel so welcome that we turned our 2 day trip into 7! They made our trip so convenient from picking us up and shuttling us to/from skiing and the train station, to booking us suppers at the best restaurants, spas and onsens and day trips. Do yourself a favour and stay here, you will not regret it!

I have stayed in Myoko numerous times, and this was by far my favorite stay in terms of accommodation. Location wise, it's as close as you can get to 'ski in-ski out' in Myoko, while also only being a short walk from most of the local restaurants/onsen. Kenji and his family go the extra mile to ensure you have the best time in Myoko, from discount lift pass tickets, providing local transport, even down to the little details such as booking restaurants in advance for our larger group. The accommodation itself was very cozy and was a perfect spot to relax after a long day on the mountain with a hot cocoa or a local craft beer. Kenji and his family definitely made this a special trip, one my family will always remember.

NEMARU Live with Books localiza-se em Nagaoka, a 12 km de Yukiguni Garden Park, e fornece acomodações com um jardim, estacionamento privado gratuito, um salão partilhado e um terraço. Nemaru is the embodiment of "cozy" - there's no end to the cute little curiosities lining the apartment! There are many delightful books to look at, as well as a projector for a fun home theater. There was clearly a lot of love put into these accommodations, and I think everyone will feel right at home here. Miura, the host, was also very kind and welcoming!

Yado Brodiaea encontra-se a 31 km de Templo Zenkoji e apresenta acomodações com acesso Wi-Fi gratuito e estacionamento privado gratuito. The personal was super kind and always happy to help. Recomend taking their offer for a ride to places. Fair price and very easy.

Guesthouse ORI ORI encontra-se em Niigata, a 14 km de Estação Ferroviária de Niigata e a 10 km de Centro Cívico da Prefeitura de Niigata. Superbly clean, two cute cats could come down if traveller requests, warm welcoming by owner, sufficient parking space, piano available, very beautiful building, reasonable price.
