Uchi is situated in Matsushima, 200 metres from Zuigan-ji Temple. Guests can enjoy listening to music or watching TV in the common area. You will find a shared lounge at the property. The guesthouse owner was very friendly, spoke great English. We had quite a few conversations, and he gave me some insights into Matsushima and Japan, as well as sightseeing/food/onsen recommendations at Matsushima. The guest house is exceptionally clean and well maintained, like a newly renovated premise. The room is equipped with air conditioning and comes with a key for you to lock the door. The location is very well located, just a 75m walk from the busy street, which makes it a clean and quiet place to stay, while having walking access to the different attractions of Matsushima.

Guest House Umebachi offers dormitory-style accommodations with free Wi-Fi. Guests can rent bicycles to tour the area and relax at the outdoor terrace. The owner of the hostel and his family are very friendly and seem to be in a good mood all the time. The hostel itself is very clean and decorated in a comfortably warm way. It is also close to Nigatake station, from which you can reach the center of Sendai in 10 min.

We booked to stay one night while visiting friends in Miyagi and it was a lovely home-from-home. The common area was a nice cosy place to relax in and the room was warm and comfortable. We didn't have time during this trip for any of the other activities on offer (paddle boarding looks fun!) so hopefully we'll be back soon!

Guesthouse 66 terletak di Kakuda, 42km dari Zuihoden dan 43km dari Stesen Sendai. Our room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. The guesthouse was about a four minute walk from the train station, and an eleven minute walk to the supermarket. Hiro, the owner, was super nice and friendly ^^
