You can rent an electric bicycle from the hotel, highly recommended to explore the island. Breakfast was lovely and the owner was kind enough to drive me to the port the day that I was leaving. Would have stayed more but it was already booked. I'll definitely stay there next time I'm on the island.

There are bikes that you can use for free to explore the beautiful and cute village of Aji (ask also to watch the movie shot in the village). There are a lot of stone quarries around, a nice ramen place and some nice cafes.

The accommodation was comfortable and charming, providing a perfect place to relax. Our host was incredible, sharing not only his knowledge but also his heart, making us feel completely at ease and genuinely welcomed. Thanks to him, we had an amazing and enriching stay. One of the highlights was spotting the shy and elusive tanuki (Japanese raccoon dogs), a rare and special sight. If you’re looking for an experience off the typical tourist trail, we highly recommend staying here!

We loved everything about our stay here. The guest house had everything we needed, and the design and natural wood decorations were precisely the type of feel that we wanted for this countryside trip in Shikoku. The hosts were amazingly laid back, friendly, and helpful, including suggesting local food options, activities, and niche viewpoints. 10/10 will stay here again.
