Free to use Kitchen has a time limit (but that's a given because of the trouble it'll take to clean and disinfect the cutlery), bicycles were also free to use.

HEM'S HOTEL ligger i Miyajima, 300 m fra Five Storey Pagoda, og tilbyder indkvartering med aircondition og have. Wonderful guest house hotel. Just us. Very peaceful and authentic. Spacious private clean room. Wonderful kind friendly host. Who made us a lovely breakfast. Was one of the hi lights of our two weeks in Japan.

Guest house kusunoki (women only) ligger i Fukuyama, 8,9 km fra Miroku no Sato, 9 km fra Jodoji-templet og 10 km fra Oogamiyama Omoto-helligdommen. I really enjoyed staying at this guesthouse it is super clean. The share space and the bed are really cosy (especilly the chairs for the share space ! ). N.B. : it would be great to add a small dustbin for the shower (it would be easier to throw away our hairs etc...)

The location of this traditional Japanese house is convenient, walking distance to the JR station and the ferry for cycling Shimanami kaido. We were provided with ham, eggs, bread and a fully equipped kitchen to make meals. Very quiet and comfortable stay. Flexible check in time.

The guesthouse is right on the beach and a perfect stop while doing the Shimanamikaido bike trail The owner is very friendly and welcoming The tatami room with futons was very comfortable for our family of 4.

Roku Hostel Hiroshima ligger i Hiroshima, 2,5 km fra Myoei-ji-templet, 2,6 km fra Atomic Bomb Dome og 2,8 km fra Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park. Der er have og terrasse. everything was perfect, the best thing was the feeling of feeling very welcomed. amazing family and hostel!

But this is one of the prettiest and cleansest hostels i’ve ever stayed at. You will live a little outside the city, but very easy to get to center with only needing to go 1 stop on the train leaving quite often. About 40 min with train + tram to Museum and park. Very sweet lady running the place, and the hostel is absolutly stunning and incredibly clean. Free washer and dryer + good kitchen. Also great restaurant attached that opens about 17.

Set in Onomichi, 2.6 km from Oogamiyama Omoto Shrine and 5 km from Saikon-ji Temple, しまの宿 Island Country Inn offers spacious air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony and free WiFi. Junko and Yuji have been excellent hosts and made my stay super welcome! The property is spacious & clean, and I had the entire upstairs to myself that includes a bedroom, separate living room, and private bathroom. They are very friendly and made sure I'm comfortable and well accommodated, and the stay includes a free pick-up/drop off service from the ferry across Onomichi JR station. I would also highly recommend the optional breakfast which was delicious with local fresh bread. I would highly recommend this for visitors riding the Shimanami Kaido. For me, I took the train to Onomichi JR in the afternoon, stayed overnight here and then was fresh & ready for my ride first thing in the morning. I would love to do the Kaido again in the reverse direction and this would be a perfect spot for the endpoint and I would definitely stay here again.
