The highlight for us were the hosts, Gabriel and Yuko. it is rare in our travels to find more attentive hosts who were generous with their time and in a relaxed manner. They brought their guests together and we sat as a communal table for breakfast sharing stories and information about their town of Kiryu. Although it’s not a big tourist town, Kiryu has many quirky shops and artisans plying their handmade trades. A magic show organised in the guest house on Saturday night was the icing on the cake as tables of locals and travellers shared the thrill of seeing a traditional magician weave his magic. Fantastic, this place is what travel is all about.

BUNA KUSATSU Onsen Inn erbjuder boende i Kusatsu, 47 km från Jigokudanis appark och 15 km från Mt. Kusatsu Shirane. Very pretty and clean facility. Onsen were very relaxing.

Plenty of room, clean, well equipped with everything you might need during your stay. following was available on site: yoga equipment, outside seating and bbq, we were able to attend a buddhist ceremony in the temple If you're looking for a place for an extended time for some peace and quiet or just a short stay, both works. Very friendly and helpful host.

宿坊 観音院 Temple Hotel Kannonin ligger i Kiryu, 36 km från Kumagaya rugbystadion, och erbjuder boende med en trädgård, gratis privat parkering och en terrass. An amazing temple to relax and recharge. Even the kids were impressed and enjoyed their visit. The outdoor bath under the 100-year-old tree with Zen garden was wonderful and the area extremely quiet and peaceful. Opening the inner courtyard garden was a great start to the day. And the MOST COMFORTABLE futons we have slept on! Kitchen utensils were fully supplied. Renovated in December 2012, Pension Asanebou offers simple accommodations with free Wi-Fi and a private toilet. Guests can enjoy the private reservable open-air baths and relax in the garden. We loved everything about it. The goldens were so sweet! The hotsprings were great and we didn't have to wait because you have different options. Dinner and breakfast were great! There was so much food and all of it was great!

Kusatsu Onsen Guesthouse Gyoten erbjuder boende i Kusatsu (Gunma), 14 km från Mt. Kusatsu Shirane. The owner Is very friendly and helpful. The guest house Is few minutes far from downtown. Nice place and very convenient price too.

Kusatsu KOTODAMA är ett pensionat i japansk stil som ligger bara 4 minuters promenad från bussterminalen Kustatsu Onsen. Hotellet ligger också 10 minuters promenad från Yubatakes varma källor. It’s cosy, very clean and a set up like the local home experience. I have a short stay however, it’s wonderful. Yubitoya - Vacation STAY 44210v ligger i Kawaba, 11 km från Kawaba och 45 km från Ishidan-gai Steps, och erbjuder rum med luftkonditionering och delat badrum. All the facilities are brand new and we got the whole house to ourselves (since there were no other guests), host were very nice, friendly and welcoming. There were free drinks as well.
