Spent April-Weekend in this cosy homely house and whole Sunday went hiking west along coastline. Owner Dane very helpful and gave plenty and usefull advices. A good feeling place

Nanakuniyama Minka - Vacation STAY 37250v is set in Isumi, 21 km from Yoro Keikoku Okukiyosumi Prefectural Natural Park, 22 km from Mobara Station, and 23 km from Sogen-ji Temple. The place is amazing in a beautiful Japanese style building on a mountain slope. We arrived with a rented car but I think it's maybe 20-30 minutes to the nearest train station by walk. I heard the train ride there is incredible as well in sakura time but didn't have time to try it. The host family lives nextdoor, but you have a big house and yard all for yourself with all the privacy. There is a cozy fireplace, kitchen with all the amenities, TV and also an outdoor bath tube which was one of the best things. Also the host can rent you a tuktuk which was a special and unforgettable experience to drive in the countryside. We were lucky to visit by the best sakura time and the weather was also good. I also recommend trying the mochi making experience with the host family. You can also have a kotatsu outside for the evening. I'm pretty sure if you decide to stay here you won't be disappointed.

Featuring free WiFi and a restaurant, Minamiboso Asian Garden Villa Shirahama offers accommodation in Minamiboso. Our room was definitely idiosyncratic, with a great mixture of flea-market findings, real and almost antiques, big windows and lots of space. Public areas were also fun, continuing the comfortable, off-beat vibe. A little frayed at the edges, though very clean. Friendly staff.

Narita Sando Guesthouse provides accommodation in Narita near Naritasan Shinshoji Temple and Naritasan Park. Narita Station and Keisei Narita Station is just a 5-minute walk. Free WiFi is provided. Convenient location, traditional japanese style with tatami and futon, kitchen has water filter to provide drinkable water. I reccomend this place. I liked the contactless checkin/checkout where i just got lock pin code to my email. But the checkin form was probably unnecessarily long (unlike other hotels where they just send you without too many questions)

Located just 36 km from Chiba Port Tower, 川っぺり 大出 features accommodation in Kujukuri with access to free bikes, a shared lounge, as well as a shared kitchen. Big house on a the edge of an unused rice field. I saw baby ducks and heard all kinds of birds. The river was very close, I liked biking along the river to get to the ocean, about 5 min by bike. The owner is super nice.

Opened in March 2018, HOSTEL Co-EDO is a 10-minute walk away from JR Sawara Station. Free WiFi is provided throughout the property. The lobby is very comfortable. We can grind our own coffee.

Located in Tateyama, Hillside Inn Sirocco offers a private open-air bath for an additional fee. Each accommodation at the 2-star guest house has garden views and free WiFi. I stayed here with my son for a couple of nights and found the Hillside Inn Scirocco very charming. The Inn itself is very tidy and set in beautiful natural surroundings, which include a well tended garden and outdoor hot pool for exclusive use for guests. The sea view from the room was amazing and, along with the birdsong, lovely to wake up to. Breakfast was amazing, wholesome and freshly prepared every day. The owners are very kind although it probably helps to be able to speak Japanese. Overall, we had a great time!
