A recently renovated guest house set in Birkimelur, Strönd Guesthouse features barbecue facilities. This beachfront property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. Our room was exceptionally clean, comfortable, modern & well maintained. Lovely products with shampoo (& conditioner👌). The housekeeper was lovely & very good at her job, we’re big coffee drinkers & she happily accommodated us. We were never cold thanks to the underfloor heating. Shared kitchen was spotless with everything you would require & a dishwasher for guests. Washing machine & dryer facilities free for guests which was a big bonus for us! We also saw the northern lights right outside our room! Cannot recommend Strönd enough we honestly loved our stay, thank you!!

Located in Patreksfjörður, in a historic building, 23 km from Pollurinn, Pálshús is a guest house with a garden and shared lounge. This place is so stunning! And the view is great! It’s clean and the facilities are great!

This guest house provides free private parking, a 24-hour front desk and free WiFi. simple but completely clean studio apartment with plenty of space for two people. It was warm and had a kitchen that was perfectly adequate to cook a meal. The bathroom was modern with a generously sized shower. There were two bathrobes as well as towels. It was quiet and with parking right outside. The house is up the hill from the harbour and it was a bit cold (snow everywhere) to walk to the hot pools on the shore so we took the car, but I would estimate a 10 min walk in summer.

The location was picturesque and check in was simple. Our room had its own private bathroom and it was clean with good water pressure. The heated towel rack was a bonus! The breakfast was outstanding and definitely worth the additional charge.

We love the architecture, warm service from Knutur, breakfast, tranquility and so much more. We'll definitely be coming back to Iceland and stay longer in Drangar.

Located 6 km from Stykkishólmur, Helgafell provides a garden and free WiFi. All rooms feature a flat-screen TV with cable channels and a private bathroom. It was a nice little cottage which is located at a lake and the Helgafell. We had everything we need in the cottage.

Located on a family owned sheep farm, Saudafell Guesthouse offers accommodation in Sauðafell. Free WiFi and free private parking are available on site. The house was warm and inviting and cozy. The owners were lovely to chat with during breakfast and answered many of my questions about Iceland.
