The location was remote and extremely beautiful overlooking the lake.

So welcoming and informative. Jirka serves a wonderful farm style breakfast! The room had everything we wanted, wonderful shower, nice coffee stand with hot water, coffee and tea, stylish decor, chairs, table and a luxurious and super comfortable bed. The travel brochures and books were a nice touch.

We can't fault anything about St John's B and B. The house is in a lovely area surrounded by a beautiful wood and only 15 minutes from Athlone. Our room was clean and comfortable. We received a warm welcome with tea and buns. We got a lovely and plentiful breakfast the next morning. Marie is a lovely down to earth woman who couldn't do enough to make sure we enjoyed our stay.
