Beautiful view directly on the lake. Natural surroundings are superb. Landscaped garden is lovely even in November. The house is renovated, elegant and very comfortable. Very good beds. The premises are spotlessly clean, Andy the host is most welcoming, and the breakfast is amazing (home cooked, organic, and additional buffet). if you enjoy driving, Andresna house is ideally located to explore the west Atlantic road, Mayo, Sligo and south of Donegal counties.

Offering a garden and garden view, The Townhouse is situated in Elphin, 13 km from Clonalis House and 14 km from Leitrim Design House. The Townhouse felt very warm and inviting as soon as I entered and I was welcomed by the lovely owner, Kathleen. My room was comfy, spacious and perfect for my stay. The location too was great as St Patrick's church; my grandparents final resting place, food shops, a windmill and bars to watch the Irish six nations in were all within walking distance. Also easy to get the local bus outside. There was also a sumptuous choice for breakfast daily, which was absolutely delicious. All the staff I met were kind and helpful and allowed my elderly aunt to visit me as she was passing through the area. I'm so grateful as I'd not seen her for around 15 years!

Set in Roscommon, 6.8 km from Claypipe Visitors Centre, St John's B and B offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a shared lounge. St. John’s B&B couldn’t have been nicer! Although we arrived late in the evening, Marie was welcoming and showed us to our very clean room. She asked us at what time we wanted our breakfast and had a full Irish (and some 😃) ready for us the next morning. Her homemade scones and brown bread were sensational. Out the dining room windows we saw their new calf and met Patch, their terrier mix dog. Marie gave us tips, maps, and info on what see in the area and gave us a tour of St. John’s old schoolhouse that is also available to book for a stay. It’s adorable! I can’t say enough about Marie and John’s hospitality and kindness. I hope to see them again if I make it to Ireland!

Located in Castlerea and only 20 km from Roscommon Racecourse, Lisalway Country Lodge provides accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. Tommy and Pam were great hosts, the rooms were just what we needed and the breakfast was wonderful. The location was very close to the relatives we were meeting. We were able to arrive early and leave the car at the lodge while we visited with cousins,

Glenvela guest house features garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Castlerea, 16 km from Dr. Douglas Hyde Interpretative Centre. We absolutely loved this beautiful rural location, lovely old home, beautiful setting, gorgeous views, the only sound is sheep bleating, a good chat with other guests at breakfast, and the warmth of the host who makes the best mugs of tea and cooked breakfasts we had anywhere in Ireland. A really memorable stay. Ask for the King Suite if free.
