We had a very nice and spacy room, even a coffee machine was on the table, a well-equipped bathroom, a friendly manager, and a wonderful breakfast. 10 min walk to the city center and 15 min to the train station. We were allowed to leave the luggage after checking out.

Offering a garden and garden view, The Poplars is located in Newbold on Stour, 11 km from Royal Shakespeare Theatre and 13 km from Walton Hall. Fantastic place to stay on the edge of the Cotswolds. Rooms were very nice and comfortable, and Isobel was a lovely host who prepared a wonderful breakfast for us. Can wholeheartedly recommend the Poplars.

Breakfast was excellent. Lovely to find delicious Victoria sponge on arrival. Host was very friendly and welcoming and efficient.
