Everything was perfect. Rooms and cottages were beautiful and extremely well equipped. Towels were dreamy. The staff was wonderful. The pub directly over the road serves great meals, and we had a great time exploring the peak area.

The Bull's Head exceeded all my expectations. It was the perfect mix of heritage/character and contemporary as it was recently entirely redone. For me, it was exactly what I wanted for my solo trip to the Peak District - really cozy and quaint, but new and fresh and clean. My room (#3) was darling - corner unit with 2 windows and great views, warm, and very charming country aesthetic. The minimal traffic and pub noise didn't bug bother me at all, the bed was comfortable, and plenty of complimentary tea/coffee/hot chocolate in the room. The continental breakfast was just right (Canadians, note that it is cold items only). The staff was friendly and lent me a very handy umbrella for my few days. I had one meal in the pub which I enjoyed, which was also cute with the fireplaces.

The breakfast options, snacks and treats, games for children, bedlinen, friendliness, location it couldn’t have been more perfect! ….We will return again.

Great hosts -warm, welcoming ,helpful, friendly and just “ our kinda folk…” Thanks - we’ll be back!

El desayuno es práctico, hay un poco de todo y quedas muy satisfecho. La ubicación es magnífica porque estás cerca de zonas comerciales y culturales. El área del lobby es muy confortable para pasar el rato y/o esperar.
