Kilmeny's location may not be suitable for those guests without their own transport. Kilmeny is offering accommodation in Ballygrant. Margarethe and Plea were outstanding hosts. One of a kind. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The house is up on the hill with stunning views. Lovely garden with comfortable benches, where you can relish your favorite Whiskey, that you have discovered after visiting the distilleries. Highly recommended

The Trout Fly Guest House offers accommodation in the centre of Port Ellen, minutes from the ferry terminal and only 3 miles from our local airport. Great place with excellent host. hearty breakfasts

Glenegedale House offers accommodation in Glenegedale and is situated 5 miles from Port Ellen and 6 miles from Bowmore. Each room includes a flat-screen TV. Our hosts Emma and Graeme made us feel very welcome. The breakfast is a feast in itself! Three courses of locally sourced products cooked to perfection. There’s even the option for a tot of single malt on your porridge! The place is spotlessly clean and extremely well decorated, residents have the full run of the downstairs where they can relax in the comfy sofas and enjoy a G&T from the amazing selection of Scottish gins. They also provide evening meals and will happily cater for any special dietary requirements provided you let them know in advance. If you choose to eat out, there are good restaurants in Bowmore, the cleverly named Peatzeria and, in Port Ellen, the Sea Salt Bistro and the Islay Hotel. A visit to one or more of the distilleries on Islay is a must as is a trip to Jura and the wonderful Lussa gin distillery at the far end of the island. Would we stay there again. Absolutely…

Set in Bowmore, THE BRUCE offers accommodation with free WiFi and TV. There is a fully equipped private bathroom with shower and a hairdryer. Exceptionally nice host. Large rooms with good size bathrooms. Very clean and great location in the center of Bowmore.. 10/10 would recommend

Ubytovanie Cala Sith Guesthouse sa nachádza v destinácii Port Ellen 2 min. chôdze od miesta Pláž White Hart Beach a 2,2 km od miesta Pláž Kilnaughton Beach. Location was fabulous! The included breakfast was well-stocked and had fresh coffee. There’s a spot for guests to refrigerate food. We got takeaway a few times for meals. We could eat our takeaway in the dining area, which was nice. For a small fee they took care of our laundry. This was really nice after traveling for a few days. We had a later flight on our checkout day. They let us store our luggage in the room until later.
