Boasting a garden and views of garden, Abbey Court Guest House is a guest house set in a historic building in Carlisle, 38 km from Askham Hall. The lady who did our check-in was just fantastic and really nice to talk. The breakfast was excellent and well cooked. The room was clean like a 5-star hotel and the bed was just really soft and cozy. I think it was the best stay I've ever had in the UK.

Situated in Grasmere, 12 km from Windermere, Victorian House features parking is limited and offered on a first come and first served basis. The rooms come with a flat-screen TV. Beyond and above, we had an amazing stay. The staff was so kind and helpful. Great breakfast with lots of options! We just loved it! The room was nice and big, good bath and great view onto the mountains.

The Westbourne is a beautiful guest house set in the peaceful area below Biskey Howe in the Lake District. Bedrooms feature walk-in-shower rooms, luxurious toiletries and large fluffy towels. It was really clean, and very cute!

Jerichos is a contemporary family-run guest house with stylish decor situated on a quiet side street in the heart of Windermere village. There is free Wi-Fi and free ample private parking. The service and hospitality was great, the hosts were great! The room offered both TV and the ability to stream, which was really appreicated.
