Boasting a garden and views of garden, Abbey Court Guest House is a guest house set in a historic building in Carlisle, 38 km from Askham Hall. I was warmly welcomed and felt completely at ease. The breakfast was excellent. I will definitely be back! Thank you very much!

Located in a perfect location within walking distance of a number of eating establishments Breakfast and staff were extremely helpful. Had a room on the top floor with a vertical spiral staircase. Ask for this room. Provided parking which was also a plus. The rate should have been higher as one could not ask for more. Would have paid more without a second thought.

Overlooking picturesque hills, Meadowcroft Country Guesthouse is a family-run guest house in the tranquil Village of Ings, 2 miles from Windermere. There is free Wi-Fi in the bedrooms. Lovely staff, clean, large and comfortable rooms, lovely breakfast.

The family-run Ambleside Townhouse is situated in Ambleside, 800 metres from Lake Windermere. It offers en suite rooms and a full English breakfast in the morning. Easy to find, car park, great breakfast.

The Westbourne is a beautiful guest house set in the peaceful area below Biskey Howe in the Lake District. Bedrooms feature walk-in-shower rooms, luxurious toiletries and large fluffy towels. Lovely warm welcome, beautiful room, spotlessly clean. The only place we have stayed which was better in reality than the advertising photos. Attention to detail was excellent, down to the herbal tea selection in the room.

Traditsiooniline hobuste String of Horses on pärit umbes 1659. aastast. See külalistemaja asub Faugh' külas, Carlisle'ist ja kiirtee M6 ristmikust 43. kilomeetri kaugusel. Great stay with the pub and the restaurant just under the rooms. Incredibly clean from the corridor carpet to the room itself. The bathroom was wonderfull. We had a warm and relaxing stay. Restaurant and pub are fine too.
