This charming half timber-framed, half Cotswold-stone hotel dates back to the 16th Century when it was a country retreat for the Abbotts of Pershore. Breakfast was excellent. Many choices. The pub was a great place to end a day of touring - met many interesting/entertaining people there. Staff is very friendly. Bedroom was spacious and linens comfortable. Loved this hotel! Charming in every way!

In the Cotswold village of Frampton Mansell, The Crown Inn is a 17th-century ‘cider house’ with log fires, traditional home-cooked food, locally brewed real ales and good company! Super friendly people, very delicious dinner, comfortable beds. What else to wish? Maybe a breakfast offer could be improved. But overall 9.5 of 10.

My family and I had a very elegant time at the guesthouse. Hosts are very friendly! It is a very convenient location, just a short walk from center of the Burton-on-the Water. The room was spacious, well-organized, and cleanly maintained. The freshly made breakfast was very delicious, and there was parking available as well, which made it really great. It was also very convenient to visit the neighboring villages. I highly recommend this guesthouse to everyone.

Amazing place with such a beautiful room and outside area. Breakfast was also amazing and Mark and Mona were 5 stars. A jewel in the cotswolds, will definitely return.

Boasting garden views, Balcarres, Rodborough Avenue features accommodation with patio, around 17 km from Kingsholm Stadium. Everything was just perfect at Kate's place. She's got beautiful home, big kitchen with nice breakfast everyday that follows your needs (alternative for milk etc.) and home-made bread! We could use the terrace with a view just on trees and there was no problem to come back at any time.

Greg makes the best scrambled eggs.
