We were warmly welcomed by Corinne, who was friendly, full of great ideas for our visit, and kind enough to let us drop our bags off early so we make the most of exploring Bourton. The location was perfect and we had a beautiful, cosy room. The breakfast the following day was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend!

Anne couldn't have been more accommodating. Breakfast would have been a feast if we had let her have her way but my sister and i are not huge eaters so she had to curb her enthusiasm to porridge, toast and homemade marmalade, which was sooooo yummy. Her homemade rhubarb and apple compote was also excellent over yoghurt. Anne is a lovely, lovely lady and her property is beautiful both inside and out. The surrounding area is great for walking...down along the water....into the small downtown...and visiting the most gorgeous church on the main road. The steward that was there was knowledgeable about the history of the church and the town and so kind. The Bull pub restaurant was everything you could imagine an English pub to be....ambience ...good service....excellent food...good people. Would highly recommend The Nurseries for more than just an overnight. We stayed 2 nights and I wish we could have dallied for at least another day.
