Located on the Parkgate's Parade in Wirral, with fabulous views over the Dee estuary to North Wales, the Ship Hotel offers fresh, locally-sourced, hearty food, free Wi-Fi, and free parking on site. We stayed 3 Nights, would have stayed longer if we could have. Lovely location, Food was excellent, Beds were very comfy & Staff were among the best we encountered on our 4 week Holiday. We will definitely be returning for another stay.

I loved everything. Wonderful hosts, beautiful accommodation in a perfect location. Myself and my 2 dogs were made to feel very welcome.

George is a wonderful host and made us feel very welcome. You can tell his heart and soul goes into making your stay the best. He thought about every little thing, from wine and beer upon arrival, the room included dressing gowns and slippers, tea & coffee, a selection of chocolate bars and more. The large private bathroom is fully stocked and has everything you could possibly need with a range of toiletries you can use. Everything is exceptionally clean and the room is based on the back of the house which is really quiet. There are fans in the room if you need them too. The breakfast is out of this world! Selection of cereals and fresh fruits and yoghurt. I would highly recommend the cooked breakfast, it was perfect. Location is great - opposite the park and 5-10 mins walk into the main part of Chester. If you're wanting 5 star service in somebody's home, this is the place to stay. Thank you George. We'll definitely be back next time we're visiting.

Bernie and Alex are very kind people. Bless them. The house is beautiful, bigger than we expected and had prepared for our arrival to to the last t. What you see is what you get. The room is very clean with fresh bedding and white towels. The breakfast is well thought out. More than enough, homely, sumptuous fresh and everything amazing. I couldn't find better words to describe it. The location is quiet, fresh and the compound well taken care of. One can also go for walks- beautiful old church around the corner from the manor. They were so kind to offer us a late checkout and a mid morning coffee and cookies. For our son they offered us free roam on the farm with food to feed the poultry and access to petting donkeys.

Alvanley Arms, Cotebrook er með garð, verönd, veitingastað og bar í Tarporley. Gistikráin er staðsett í um 22 km fjarlægð frá dýragarðinum Chester Zoo og 29 km frá Tatton Park. The room and bathroom were fantastic!! My steak and ale pie for dinner was lovely. And a full English breakfast was included in the rate. Amazing!

Wonderful, relaxed holiday. Hospitality was excellent, breakfast was fantastic, facilities were great, lovely view from the breakfast room. I really enjoyed the 3 days I spent at HIGHER FARM B&B and recommend it as a place to stay while visiting the area.
