Situated in Lamlash and only 800 metres from Lamlash Beach, Monamore Guest House features accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. Literally everything! We extremely enjoyed our holiday on Arran in this lovely guest house. Emily was an amazing host!! There were only 4 rooms in the Monamore, each one named after one of the famous Arran's attractions and decorated appropriately. Our room 'Glenashdale' (a picturesque waterfall) with a nice view on the back yard and woodland with a lot of birds and squirrels, had a small fridge, kettle, coffee/tea/biscuits. The bathroom was very comfortable with a shower with very good water pressure - so nice after a day of hiking! Breakfasts were delicious,, Emily's home-made granola was unsurpassed. Also, there was access to this common dining room with cutlery for guests up to 9.30pm where, if you want, you may have dinner with your takeaways. Emily provided a great guide with a bunch of nice places where to eat or order takeaways. The food on Arran was surprisingly delicious, we also strongly recommend checking out local ice-cream, cheese and whisky. We would love to come back and stay in Monamore for more days as despite Arran being not big, but so diverse and beautiful, that you want to expose every hill and wally to fill yourself with wonderful impressions. Do not forget to take anything (repellent worked quite well) to protect yourself from midges, they could be nasty when you are not moving.

Burnside Farm B & B is situated 4.3 km from Girvan and 25 km from Ayr. Free private parking is available on site. The rooms are equipped with a TV. You will find a kettle in the room. What an amazing place to stay, I only wish it was for longer. An excellent breakfast, one of the best I've had while being away, served in the room and accompanied by a beautiful sea view. Can't recommend highly enough and excellent value for money.

Crofthead Farm House is located in Tarbolton, 41 km from Glasgow and 12 km from Ayr. Free private parking is available on site. Each room has a private bathroom, flat-screen TV and kettle. The breakfast was exceptional. Fresh fruit + a full Scottish breakfast. Do not forget to try the overnight oats - delicious!! Nicola and Gary are very friendly hosts. The room was very clean and the bathroom spacious. The B&B is in a rural area so it is very quiet. We had a wonderful stay with them.

Located 5 minutes’ walk from Ayr's sandy beach and a 15-minute stroll from the town centre, Blackburn Villa offers 4 furnished guest rooms, all on the ground floor. Loved everything about the property and the staff. The room was charming, comfortable, and clean. The garden was lovely. Breakfast was incredible.
