Villa du Loir is a beautifully restored b&b in an 18th century historical building on the bank of the river Loir at the edge of the old town center of la Flèche. Our room (overlooking the river) and bathroom (overlooking the garden) were very tastefully decorated, quite spacious, and very comfortable and clean indeed. Breakfast was well-served and delicious. Our kind and helpful hosts took very good care of us. Thank you very much Pinar and Oliver, what charming couple you are! Villa du Loir, the town of La Flèche and the nearby restaurant L’Idee Gourmand where we had dinner, will surely be on our itinerary again next year.

Beautiful house renovated with loving attention into a small hotel. Garden on the river with chairs and tables, and a safe place to store our bikes. Great breakfast. Ana was a welcoming host.

Situated in Angers, near Molière Tramway Station, Saint Serge Université Tramway Station and Angers Town Hall, Villa Buffon has a garden. This is a stylish house just a short walk from the centre of town. The owner was welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was good.

Great location by the Loire an easy walk to lots of restaurants, host Hélène really friendly, ideal shed for cycles, clean comfortable and quiet room, super breakfast with homemade jams and lots of coffee.

Located within 18 km of Casino of Saint Jean de Monts and 35 km of Pornic Train Station, Les Gones en Vendée provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Saint-Gervais. This is a super clean comfortable family run hotel. Even though the restaurant was closed our hosts prepared an amazing meal for us because we were on bicycles and there were no other facilities open on Sunday. What an amazing gesture!

Set in Saumur, in a historic building, 6.5 km from Saumur Train Station, Chambres d'hôtes La Tour de Bellevue is a recently renovated guest house with a garden and bar. It was a lovely quirky property. A real find. The hosts (Thomas & Vincent) were wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble. We definitely recommend and we hope to be back again.
