Situated in Otterup, in a historic building, 23 km from Train Station Odense, Birkelund BnB is a recently renovated bed and breakfast with a garden and barbecue facilities. THE BREAKFAST WAS GREAT AND DELICIOUS. JEANETTE AND JOHN ARE PERFECT HOSTS WHEN WE NEEDED THEM THEY WERE ALWAYS AVAILABLE OTHERWISE THEY LEFT US ALONE AND FELT LIKE WE HAVE OUR OWN HOUSE. THE LOCATION WAS PERFECT THE ROOM WES VERY TASTEFULLY DECORATED ( WE LOVE THE LITTLE TOUCHES LIKE THE US FLAG AT THE FRONT AND IN OUR ROOM THE LIGHTHOUSE LIGHT IN THE BATHROOM ETC.). EVERYTHING IS IMMACULATELY CLEAN AND ORGANIZED. WE DID FIND OUT THAT WE CAN HAVE DINNER TOO FOR AN EXTRA FEE, WHICH IS WELL WORSE THE PRICE. JEANETTE MADE A TYPICAL DELICIOUS DANISH DINNER. WE RECOMMENDING TO TRY IT MUCH BETTER THAN ANY RESTAURANT FOOD.

From NZ, it's not often that we get to stay in historic homes this we loved. The delightful fresh baked breakfast was more than we could eat, so was packed for our days adventures, very yummy. Baekgaardens will remain as a Denmark highlight for us.

Bonus of not just a bedroom and en suite shower room, but also private sitting/dining area. Plus an extensive garden to sit in. All very tastefully furnished. Lovely breakfast including freshly made rolls.

Set within 19 km of Carl Nielsen Museum and 31 km of Hans Christian Andersen 's Home in Fåborg, Safine B&B offers accommodation with seating area. This is a lovely b&b, and the hosts are nice and welcoming! The room was clean, comfy and had anything we needed. Breakfast was great with everything including freshly baked bread and homemade jam, and the hosts asked us several times if we wanted anything else :) The location is quite good, in the middle of Fyn, close to main attractions in the area.
