Breakfast was delicious and hosts polite and helpful. We stayed in a room with two double beds and a small bed. All beds were very comfortable. I slept in the little one on the picture, very cozy!

The prettiest ranch i have seen in my entire life. The family is devoted and welcoming. The horses are necessary to get up in the mountains, and the views are out of this world. Really amazing experience. I would 100% recommend as a comfortable retreat. The sunset's are out of this world beautiful.

Monte Terras is located 100 metres from Lake Arenal and 5 minutes’ walk from Tronadora Main Square. Free Wi-Fi access is available throughout. This property is a little gem with a spectacular view! I went with my husband and 3 children and the kids had so much fun exploring the property, using the swings and trampoline and running around. Kees was super accommodating, making sure that we had everything we needed! I highly recommend this spot!

Nepenthe B&B is located 4 km from the Arenal Volcano National Park and 3 km from the Arenal Lake. It features a hot tub, sun terrace with swimming pool, spa treatments and free breakfast. It is a stunning place, with a breathtaking view of the lake and volcano. The staff were super friendly and made us feel very welcome. Fabian is an absolute star, I highly recommend a massage with him, it was by far the best experience I have had. The restaurant team are also fabulous, thanks to Juan and the ladies for making delicious food and being very hospitable. We really didn't want to leave, it was a perfect end to our 10 day trip in Costa Rica.

Mary was so friendly and helpful. She went out of her way providing us with helpful information, logistical support and transportation. She checked on us regularly to ensure we had everything we needed, which we did. The home was in a beautiful area walking distance from Lake Arenal Park and recreation area and very close to restaurants and shops. Perfect weather...no need for a heater or air conditioner.
