This was our first visit to the scenic tiny village of Silvia located in the heart of the Andes. Villa Luz de Vida gave us a very pleasant surprise by offering us a cozy home atmosphere, beautiful interior design, modern facilities, hot water, peace and tranquility. The hosts are very kind and welcoming and connected us with places, stories, events and a guide who offers authentic experiences in the area. Will be happy to go back in the future.

Alex is an amazing host. The location was next to a mall but far enough away to be quiet. Very residential location for a nice night of quiet to rest. Solid breakfast. The accommodation is non-smoking.... the location is great!!!! close to everything. the shower does NOT have hot water, but the host gave me a bucket with hot water and it worked for me. the place is very private, very safe. wifi worked fine. it is a very good place for 1-2 nights.

Great location, 5 minute walk to city centre. Fantastic staff, extremely helpful and gentle. The overall atmosphere was very laid back. Superclean !! This hostel was by far the cleanest we had in 3 months travelling South America. There is a nice hot shower and our room had a good, firm matrass. All in all great value for money and highly recommended. If you’re into Heavy Metal, there’s a great Metal Bar a bit further down the street 😀🤘!

Situated in Popayan, Lienzo Hostel and Mural Art Museum features accommodation with a shared lounge, free WiFi, a 24-hour front desk, and a shared kitchen. This was a great hostel with an amazing staff. The hot water works here! I enjoyed exploring the town and going to the nearby termales in the nearby National Park. The staff were amazing showing me a nearby overlook for sunset. Breakfast was amazing and healthy. Coffee is great too! I would certainly plan to stay here in the future when visiting.
