Everything in the room worked perfectly. Our host was very helpful in all respects and was able to sort out an additional night when our train was cancelled. It is located 10 mins from the north gate and 10 mins from all the ancient city attractions. Highly recommended and great value.

Offering Chinese and Western food on site, Pingyao Harmony Hotel features well-decorated guestrooms and simple dormitory rooms for guests. It is located in Ancient City of Pingyao, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It provides massage service, barbecue facilities and daily tour arrangements. Service was great. We were picked up at the parking lot with a shuttle bus. Dinner in the hotel was perfect and delicious. They even offered gluten free food! The owner family were very friendly and supported us in any situation. We strongly recommend this hotel as it is a pleasure to stay there. We surely will come back, when we are around this area again.

Beautiful accommodation at the centre of ancient city of Pingyao in the bustling South Street. The owner and staff are very friendly, warm and helpful. They picked us up from the station and brought us to Ancient City (cars are not allowed inside) and also brought us on the day of departure, both for very reasonable fees, because we were with 5, too many for a taxi. The hotel and rooms were in a traditional style, allowing for great pictures.The beds and cushions were very comfortable for us. The bathroom and toilet are combined in a small room, but it wasn't bothersome.The owner knows the nearby shops and good spots to go to, definitely ask for tips. We enjoyed our 2 nights and 3 days in Pingyao a lot, definitely recommended.
